Hull Cleanings/Inspections

We hull cleanings that caters best to your vessels needs, such as monthly or bi-weekly cleanings. With year round warm weather here in South Florida it is important to keep you hull and bottom paint clean on a monthly basis at minimum. Prices can vary from $2 a foot to $6 a foot depending on the severity of growth. All hull cleanings include cleaning of intakes, through holes, running gear, and waterline.

Anodes / Zincs

Any time you have two different metals that are physically or electrically connected and immersed in seawater, they become a battery. Some amount of current flows between the two metals. The electrons that make up that current are supplied by one of the metals giving up bits of itself in the form of metal ions to the seawater. This is called galvanic corrosion and, left unchecked, it quickly destroys underwater metals. Adding zincs prevents this process. Pricing may vary, call for specific options.
